About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Researching and identifying relevant and high-quality websites, blogs, guest-post opportunities, directories and platforms for backlinking.
2. Reaching out to external sites for guest posts, link placements, submission of classifieds, forum links, Q&A platforms, etc.
3. Drafting content or collaborating with content writers to create link-friendly articles, anchor texts, outreach emails and submission copy.
4. Maintaining a backlink tracker/report (with details such as link type, target URL, domain authority/metrics, status, date, and anchor text).
5. Monitoring existing backlinks for health (broken links, link quality, spammy links) and reporting growth/improvement.
6. Collaborating with the in-house SEO/marketing team to align backlinking efforts with keyword strategy, domain authority goals, referral traffic goals and overall SEO plan.
7. Staying updated with the latest off-page SEO trends (e.g., link building best practices, Google algorithm updates, no-follow vs do-follow, link neighbourhood).
8. Providing weekly/monthly reports summarising link-building activity, outcomes and suggestions for improvement.
