Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Internship in Pune at Inniti Alliance Private Limited

About the Internship

We are looking for an SEO/ Digital marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This internship comes with the potential for a performance-based job opportunity.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Keyword research and analysis:
- Use tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to discover new keywords.
- Analyze search volume, competition, and relevance for targeted audiences.
- Regularly update and refine keyword lists for ongoing SEO campaigns.

2. On-page optimization:
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and headings (H1, H2, etc.).
- Ensure strategic keyword placement within content, images (alt tags), and URLs.
- Review and improve internal linking strategies, fixing any broken links.

3. Technical SEO:
- Conduct website audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs.
- Monitor site speed and performance through Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Fix technical issues such as crawl errors, mobile usability, and indexing problems.

4. Content management:
- Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly blog posts and web pages.
- Refresh outdated content and improve readability for better optimization.
- Ensure content aligns with current SEO trends and best practices.

5. Link building:
- Research and engage with relevant websites for backlink opportunities.
- Monitor the quality of backlinks and disavow harmful links when necessary.
- Implement link-building strategies such as guest blogging, directory submissions, and creating shareable infographics.

6. Analytics and reporting:
- Track SEO performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports on key metrics like organic traffic, bounce rates, and click-through rates (CTR).
- Analyze competitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

7. Monitoring and updates:
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes (e.g., Google updates).
- Monitor search engine result page (SERP) rankings for target keywords.
- Continuously refine SEO strategies based on performance insights.

8. Collaboration:
- Work closely with web developers to fix technical SEO issues.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with broader campaigns.
- Partner with social media teams to amplify content reach and engagement.
