About the Internship
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential customers for our sales pipeline. This role involves researching target companies, initiating contact through cold calling and other outreach methods, and utilizing our CRM system to track progress and manage leads. The ideal candidate is comfortable with high-volume outreach, persistent, and eager to contribute to our company's growth.If you are uncomfortable picking up the phone and talking to strangers, this may not be for you, but if you want to learn how to sell, this is a great starting point in your career. You will be trained in the best approach to be successful.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify and research prospective client companies within target markets using various online tools and databases.
2. Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting activities, primarily through cold calling, to generate interest and identify potential leads.
3. Clearly articulate our company's value proposition to potential clients over the phone and via email.
4. Qualify leads based on established criteria to determine potential fit and interest level.
5. Schedule introductory meetings or calls between qualified prospects and our Account Executives.
6. Diligently log all prospecting activities, communications, and lead information within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
7. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for outreach activities and qualified lead generation.
8. Stay informed about our products/services and relevant industry trends.
9. Collaborate effectively with sales and marketing team members.
