About the Internship
GEMA Education Technology UAE organises international-level academic and creative competitions for school students across multiple countries. Our events involve coordination with schools, parents, judges, logistics teams, and online platforms like Zoom. We are looking for responsible, detail-oriented Event Coordinators who can manage events end-to-end and act as the single point of contact between schools and our internal team.As an event coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of an event - from school coordination and online sessions to data management and dispatch confirmations. This role is execution-focused, not theoretical. If you enjoy follow-ups, coordination, and making sure things actually get done on time, this role is for you.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Coordinate with schools via phone and email to confirm participation, school contact persons, and delivery addresses
2. Conduct Zoom sessions for orientations, briefings, or jury interactions wherever required
3. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned events
4. Track submissions, attendance, and school confirmations using spreadsheets/CRM tools
5. Follow up with schools for accurate address and contact details for certificates, medals, and trophies
6. Coordinate with internal teams for dispatch, timelines, and updates
7. Handle basic parent/school queries professionally
8. Ensure events run smoothly, on time, and without confusion
