About the Internship
You will own the end-to-end mobile app across Android and iOS - shipping clean, reliable code, maintaining a strong release cadence, and keeping performance, stability, and usability high. You’ll collaborate with design and backend to turn product requirements into polished, testable components, set up solid build pipelines, and monitor the app in production. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and impact-oriented.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. App Ownership: Plan, scope, implement, and ship features/bug fixes across Android & iOS; maintain a consistent release train.
2. Code Quality: Write modular, type-safe components; add unit/integration tests; perform and respond to code reviews; keep documentation current.
3. Performance & Stability: Profile and optimize startup, memory, rendering; reduce crashes/ANRs and regressions; track and improve key app metrics.
4. Build & Release: Manage signing, builds, and store submissions; maintain CI/CD for Android+iOS; handle versioning, changelogs, and rollouts.
5. Observability & Analytics: Instrument events, set up logging/crash reporting, watch dashboards, and action issues proactively.
6. Platform Upgrades: Keep RN, Android SDK, iOS toolchains, and dependencies up to date with safe migration plans.
7. Security & Privacy: Apply secure storage practices, handle secrets safely, and respect privacy/consent and data-handling guidelines.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with designers and backend engineers; provide estimates, raise risks early, and communicate clearly.
