About the Internship
As a Mobile App Developer working alongside our embedded systems team, you will design and build apps that turn raw sensor data into meaningful insights. You’ll connect with devices over BLE, stream and process data through cloud IoT platforms, and integrate AI models (including chatbots) to deliver intelligent interactions to the end user.Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
IoT Data Visualization & App Development:
1. Build cross-platform mobile apps (Android/iOS) to display real-time data from embedded modules.
2. Design interactive dashboards with graphs, maps, alerts, and historical data views.
3. Enable device setup and configuration via BLE before cloud integration.
Cloud & Communication Integration:
1. Manage secure device pairing via BLE for initial provisioning.
2. Stream data to the app from cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Firebase, or GCP IoT).
3. Implement MQTT, WebSockets, and REST APIs for real-time and on-demand data retrieval.
AI & Intelligent Features:
1. Integrate AI-driven insights into the app, such as:
2. Chatbots that answer questions based on live or historical IoT data.
3. Predictive maintenance alerts using AI models deployed in the cloud.
4. Natural language queries for sensor data analytics.
5. Implement edge-AI assisted features for quicker responses where needed.
Backend & Full-Stack Development:
1. Develop backend services to store, process, and manage IoT data.
2. Create APIs for seamless mobile-to-cloud and cloud-to-device communication.
3. Implement user authentication, account management, and role-based access control.
Testing & Optimization:
1. Ensure the app handles real-time data updates efficiently.
2. Test and debug BLE pairing, API connections, and AI chatbot functionality.
3. Optimize for smooth performance across various devices.
