About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Assisting in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (i.e., SolidWorks).
2. Conducting research and feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts.
3. Supporting the team in creating 2D/3D models and detailed engineering drawings.
4. Performing engineering calculations, including stress analysis and tolerance analysis, to ensure design integrity.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality control, to ensure designs meet specifications.
6. Participating in prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
7. Documenting design processes, revisions, and technical data accurately.
8. Assisting in creating bills of materials (BOM) for projects.
9. Providing support for ongoing projects and contributing to problem-solving activities.
10. Selecting parts, following up with vendors, and gathering requirements.
11. Testing and validating designs.
