About the Internship
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks that provide a comprehensive understanding of the design process.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
A. Design & Drafting Support:
1. Assisting in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentations for client meetings.
2. Developing and updating technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed layouts using software like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
B. Project & Site Coordination:
1. Accompanying senior designers on site visits to take accurate measurements and photos.
2. Assisting in creating and managing project timelines.
C. Material & Vendor Management:
1. Researching and sourcing materials, furniture, and finishes from various vendors.
2. Helping in preparing sample boards and material palettes.
3. Communicating with vendors to gather quotes and product information.
D. Administrative Tasks:
1. Organizing and maintaining project files, material libraries, and client records.
2. Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required.
