This internship is about building the team and structure that powers Tangle’s next stage of growth. You’ll work at the intersection of people, process, and performance — and help shape how a startup finds, hires, and supports talent that actually fits.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Own the recruitment cycle end-to-end — sourcing, screening, and scheduling
2. Understand real hiring needs, not just job descriptions — and shape smarter workforce planning
3. Keep our internal systems and HR documentation sharp, accessible, and up to date
4. Identify inefficiencies and help us build more scalable, useful people processes
5. Work on initiatives around policies, performance, and culture that are tailored to how we actually work
6. Challenge mainstream HR assumptions when needed — and design systems that work for a company driven by speed, ownership, and high standards
7. What we’re looking for
8. A background (or strong interest) in HR, Business, Psychology, or People Strategy
9. A mind that asks why we do something, not just how
10. Strong communication, coordination, and analytical thinking
11. Someone who’s ready to break away from traditional HR tropes — and instead use first-principles thinking to solve real issues in hiring, retention, and performance
12. A proactive doer who thrives in ambiguity, picks up the slack, and gets things done
13. Someone who sees themselves as part of a fast-moving business team — not just the “HR department”
