Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Prepare before the call
2. Review the candidate’s profile so you’re familiar with who you’ll be speaking to.
3. Understand the role and the qualities you’re seeking in the candidate.
4. Write down your main questions don’t improvise.
5. Start with small talk
6. Greet the candidate warmly with something like, “Hi, how are you?”
7. Explain how the interview will proceed to help them feel comfortable.
8. Ask key questions
9. Begin with an easy opener: “Tell me a bit about yourself.”
10. Move to specifics: “Have you had experience with mentorship or HR-related projects?”
11. Present a scenario: “If a mentee were struggling, how would you help them?”
12. Listen carefully
13. Pay attention to their clarity, confidence, and reasoning.
14. Go beyond their words to understand their true character.
15. Share about us
16. Give a brief overview of infinity mentorship — its mission and team environment.
17. Help the candidate see the bigger picture and get excited about it.
