About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Assisting with end-to-end hiring:
1. Writing and posting job descriptions on platforms like LinkedIn, Internshala, etc.
2. Screening applications and conducting initial shortlists.
3. Coordinating interview schedules with team leads.
B. Coordinating daily intern activities:
1. Sharing task updates and feedback forms.
2. Helping in managing performance logs or weekly check-ins.
C. Drafting and formatting HR documents:
1. Preparing offer letters, internship confirmations, NDAs, and relieving letters.
2. Maintaining a clean digital folder structure for employee records.
D. Helping plan intern and team engagement:
1. Organizing birthdays, welcome messages, small team activities, and polls.
2. Tracking team morale and escalating any issues to the HR head or founder.
E. Maintaining HR sheets and reports:
1. Updating internship trackers, headcount reports, and hiring pipelines.
2. Preparing simple reports for founders or the leadership team.
F. Supporting basic compliance and policies:
1. Helping document startup-specific policies (WFH, conduct, break hours).
2. Ensuring interns are aware of company rules and updates.
G. Supporting new joinee onboarding:
1. Preparing welcome kits and collecting documents.
2. Setting up email accounts or Slack invites (if applicable).
3. Conducting quick orientation on culture, team, and tools.
H. Tracking attendance and leaves:
1. Using tools like Jibble, Google Sheets, or Keka to monitor daily check-ins.
2. Maintaining manual records when tools aren't available.
I. Assisting in exit formalities:
1. Preparing exit checklists, handover forms, and feedback collection.
2. Tracking pending documentation from exited employees.
J. Being a point of contact:
1. Handling basic employee queries.
2. Escalating anything critical to the founder or HR manager.
