About the Internship
This is a full-time remote role(3-4 months) for an Intern at Yali CyberShield a Vancouver, BC, based company.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. The development and deployment of cybersecurity applications, participating in research projects, and contributing to the creation of technical documentation.
2. The role will offer hands-on experience in leveraging GenAI and ThreatGPT technologies for security management.
Required Skills:
A. MERN Stack Development:
1. Strong experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js
2. Writing secure RESTful APIs with Express.js
3. Working with MongoDB (Mongoose ORM, aggregation, indexing)
B. AI & NLP Experience:
1. Experience integrating GPT API (OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face)
2. Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB)
3. NLP techniques for text classification and compliance document analysis
C. Security & Compliance Knowledge:
1. Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC 2 compliance frameworks
2. Knowledge of risk assessment, vulnerability management, and security controls
3. Experience with SIEM integrations (Splunk, AWS Security Hub, Cloud Custodian)
D. Frontend & UI Development:
1. Experience with React.js, Redux, Material UI, TailwindCSS
2. Ability to build interactive dashboards for compliance & risk monitoring
E. Cloud & DevOps:
1. Experience deploying MERN apps on Vercel, AWS, or Azure
2. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
3. Understanding of API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, CORS policies)
