About the Internship

As a full-stack developer intern, you will assist in both front-end and back-end development processes while learning to design, develop, and maintain functional platforms with databases or servers. This internship is designed to provide exposure to scalable software solutions, the full software development life cycle, and cross-functional collaboration. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Cross-functional collaboration:
1. Assist product, design, and engineering teams in delivering high-quality user experiences.
2. Help translate business and user requirements into development tasks.
3. Support QA, DevOps, and project management in streamlining development processes.

B. UI/UX and back-end design:
1. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and responsive interfaces.
2. Support back-end development tasks and learn to implement scalable logic.
3. Assist in integrating front-end and back-end systems for smooth workflows.

C. Systems architecture:
1. Learn to design and document modular, scalable system components
2. Assist in evaluating frameworks, platforms, and technologies for project needs.
3. Follow architecture and coding guidelines to maintain security and maintainability standards.

D. Database & application management:
1. Assist in developing and maintaining relational and non-relational databases.
2. Learn to implement efficient data storage, retrieval, caching, and indexing strategies.
3. Support deployment pipelines, monitoring, and troubleshooting under guidance.

E. Agile & development standards:
1. Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under mentorship.
3. Support code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.

F. Secure coding practices:
1. Learn and apply secure coding principles throughout the development lifecycle.
2. Assist in conducting vulnerability checks and implementing remediation measures.
3. Follow version control and access management processes diligently.

G. API development & integration:
1. Support the design, building, and documentation of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
2. Assist with the integration of third-party APIs and services.
3. Monitor and learn to optimize API performance and uptime.

H. Security & data protection:
1. Assist in implementing authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
2. Support monitoring of compliance with security policies and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
3. Learn to review data access, storage, and transmission processes.

I. Technical documentation:
1. Help author and update technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and API references.
2. Maintain logs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-base articles for ongoing system support.
