About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
2. Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
6. Manage tax filings and support external auditors during audits.
7. Maintain general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
8. Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends or discrepancies.
9. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
10. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial activities.
