About the Internship
We are looking for a book editor to work closely with the author on a romantic, emotional, dramatic fiction novel (approx. 250 pages). The editor will help improve sentence flow, tone consistency, emotional impact, and overall readability while preserving the original voice. You’ll collaborate directly with the writer, get credited as the editor in the final manuscript, and receive a recommendation letter upon completion.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the author to refine a 250-page romantic fiction manuscript.
2. Edit for grammar, clarity, sentence structure, and emotional consistency.
3. Maintain the tone, voice, and character arcs of the story.
4. Communicate progress regularly and meet internal deadlines.
