About the Internship
As an Embedded Software Developer / Engineer who loves tinkering with boards, integrating sensors, and writing efficient firmware, you’ll work on projects involving ESP32, ARM-based MCUs, Raspberry Pi, and more; bringing together RF systems, graphical displays, and AI-driven applications.Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
Sensor Integration & Data Handling:
1. Connect and configure multiple sensors (temperature, gas, motion, spectral, GPS, LIDAR, cameras, etc.).
2. Write and optimize sensor drivers for I2C, SPI, UART, CAN protocols.
3. Calibrate and process raw sensor data for real-world applications.
Firmware & Embedded Application Development:
1. Develop firmware in MicroPython, Python, Arduino C/C++, JavaScript, RTOS, Node.js.
2. Implement MQTT, WebSocket, REST APIs for IoT communication.
3. Build graphical interfaces on small displays using LVGL.
4. Optimize firmware for low power consumption and high reliability.
RF & IoT Communication Systems:
1. Integrate Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE Mesh, GSM, LoRa for wireless data transmission.
2. Work with edge devices to send/receive data from cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
Debugging & Hardware Bring-up:
1. Use JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes to troubleshoot.
2. Version control with Git to keep your work clean and collaborative.
AI + Edge Computing:
1. Deploy AI models on embedded hardware for object detection, predictive maintenance, or anomaly detection.
2. Optimize TensorFlow Lite / Edge Impulse models for low-memory microcontrollers.
