About the Internship
As a Design intern at Chair Collective, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team on innovative projects that push the boundaries of design. Your proficiency in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and Rhino will be instrumental in helping us bring our vision to life.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with senior designers to develop concepts and designs for new chair collections.
2. Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and Rhino.
3. Assist in prototyping and testing designs to ensure functionality and comfort.
4. Conduct research on industry trends and materials to inform design decisions.
5. Support the team in preparing presentations and pitch materials for clients.
6. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on projects.
7. Help maintain design files and documentation for future reference.
