About the Internship
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented Back-Office Executive with strong Excel skills to manage routine financial processes, including downloading bank statements, performing reconciliations, and coordinating uploads to banking platforms. The role requires accuracy, responsibility, and hands-on experience with Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data cleanup.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Download daily/weekly/monthly bank statements from designated banking portals.
2. Perform bank reconciliation by matching entries against internal records.
3. Use Excel functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters, and Conditional Formatting) to validate and analyze data.
4. Identify mismatched entries, discrepancies, and follow up with internal teams for resolution.
5. Prepare reconciliation reports and maintain error-free data logs.
6. Upload reconciled data or files back to the banking system/ERP as per defined process.
7. Ensure all tasks are completed within TAT and according to compliance guidelines.
8. Assist with additional back-office tasks such as data entry, document management, and process documentation.
9. Work on the night shift.
10. Maintain secure handling of financial data and support audit requirements.
