About What Matters:

What Matters isn’t a company. It’s a cause. Founded by world-renowned mentalist and author Ugesh Sarcar, What Matters is a global movement born out of a book—but designed to transform lives. We are on a mission to help people build clarity, credibility, and real-world impact. No gimmicks. No fluff. Just truth, execution, and transformation.

We’re currently inviting a small team of interns to join us at a pivotal stage as we roll out immersive experiences, strategic partnerships, and the first wave of community engagement. You won’t be making coffee here. You’ll be building credibility chains, forging partnerships, and shaping how this movement reaches the world. As an intern at What Matters, you will rotate across the following roles based on your strengths and curiosity:

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

Customer Experience & Support

1. Respond to inbound queries from curious readers and new users
2. Track feedback, clarify doubts, and build trust in every interaction
3. Handle support requests from the Credibility Chain platform and our book gifting system
4. Ensure every touchpoint reflects our ethos: real, respectful, and resonant

Business Development & Strategic Outreach

1. Research and connect with corporate HRs, college heads, bookstores, and community leaders
2. Craft personalized outreach messages (no templates—we value depth)
3. Follow up with leads and help structure partnerships for bulk book gifting and live sessions
4. Assist in creating impactful pitch decks and presentations

Communications & Partnerships

1. Engage potential ecosystem partners—youth clubs, thought leaders, NGOs, etc.
2. Help craft emailers, proposals, and invite messages with high emotional and psychological impact
3. Coordinate with the PR agency to align message flow and tone
4. Be the bridge between intent and execution

Content & Digital Execution (Optional based on interest)

1. Assist in writing high-impact short copy for messages, DMs, mailers, and microsite text
2. Work with internal documentation—summaries, insights, and case studies
3. Contribute to building a digital library of stories from the What Matters universe

Execution Support & Internal Ops

1. Help run logistics for college workshops and live sessions (remote or in-person)
2. Track task progress, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks
3. Keep internal systems, CRM sheets, and communications aligned


What We’re Looking For:

1. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
2. Hunger to learn, unlearn, and build something that matters
3. Self-driven, responsible, and trustworthy (we’ll trust you with real work)
4. Background in business, psychology, media, or liberal arts is a plus—but not necessary
