About the Internship
We are looking for a team lead to join our Alt Text team. This is a remote (work from home) opportunity for candidates with a science and math background who have strong English skills and team coordination abilities.What is Alt Text?
Alt Text (Alternative Text) is a short written description of an image. It helps visually impaired users understand images on websites, documents, or learning platforms through screen readers.
For example:
1. Image of a bar chart showing monthly sales growth from January to June
2. You’ll write similar, clear, and accurate descriptions for various types of images
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Write accurate and concise Alt Text descriptions for images
2. Use Excel to manage and track tasks
3. Coordinate with the team to meet quality and deadline goals
