About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Lead generation & market research:
a. Research and identify potential clients, shops, retailers, distributors, and businesses aligned with the company's products.
b. Generate qualified leads through online platforms (LinkedIn, IndiaMART, TradeIndia, JustDial, etc.) and field visits (if applicable).
c. Maintain a lead database with key contact details, purchase preferences, and outreach status.
2. Business development support:
a. Assist in reaching out to new businesses for potential partnerships or corporate tie-ups.
b. Initiate contact with potential clients via email, phone calls, and social media.
c. Schedule meetings or product demos for senior sales staff.
3. Marketing campaign assistance:
a. Support the planning and execution of digital and offline marketing campaigns.
b. Assist in developing promotional material, presentations, and brochures customized for B2B outreach.
c. Help manage and grow the company’s presence on platforms like LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business, and others relevant to B2B outreach.
4. Client engagement & communication:
a. Follow up with prospective clients and gather feedback after initial meetings or presentations.
b. Maintain good relationships with existing clients for repeat business opportunities.
c. Help create a CRM-like tracker to keep records of communication and interest levels.
5. Competitor & industry analysis
a. Track competitors’ offerings, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition tactics.
b. Provide insights on market trends that could influence product positioning or new business areas.
6. Reporting & feedback:
a. Prepare weekly reports on lead generation, outreach, and conversion progress.
b. Provide suggestions for improving sales strategies based on ground-level feedback.
7. On-field activities (if applicable):
a. Visit local markets, retail stores, or potential customers to gather data and promote the product (if safe and agreed upon).
b. Distribute marketing materials or samples, if applicable.
