capitalCORN is a boutique investment banking and fundraising advisory firm helping startups raise equity capital from VCs, and family offices. We have closed 37+ transactions successfully.
Role Overview:
capitalCORN is looking for a Business Development Intern with prior experience in business development or sales.
You’ll work closely with the core team from our Bengaluru office to identify high-potential startups who are looking to raise capital and pitch capitalCORN’s fundraising & advisory services to them. This role requires end-to-end client acquisition and onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and connect with startups actively raising funds.
2. Pitch capitalCORN’s services and manage founder relationships.
3. Generate leads through LinkedIn, email, and other outreach channels.
4. Maintain CRM records and follow up with potential clients.
5. Coordinate internally for pitch deck collection and evaluation
6. Conduct research on funding trends, startup sectors, and investor activity.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience in Business Development or Sales is mandatory.
2. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
3. Interest in startups, fundraising, and investment banking.
4. Commerce background is an added advantage.
5. Proficiency in LinkedIn, Excel/Google Sheets, and CRM tools is a plus.
6. Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
