About the Internship

We are seeking a Business Development Intern who can contribute to sales outreach, lead generation, and client engagement from day one. This is a remote internship, with occasional in-person client meetings if required. You will work closely with the Founder & CEO and gain hands-on exposure to B2B sales, pitching, corporate communication, and client relationship management. This role is ideal for someone hungry to learn, disciplined, and willing to grow in business development.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Expand and cater to all target audiences, including HR heads, procurement teams, CXOs, hotels, resorts, wedding planners, educational institutions, and corporate clients.
2. Identify and reach out to decision-makers through LinkedIn, email, and direct calls.
3. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and product presentations.
4. Pitch WildSattva’s premium gifting boxes and products to potential clients.
5. Negotiate and close orders, working towards monthly sales targets.
6. Draft and share quotations, proposals, and follow-ups.
7. Maintain CRM/Excel trackers for leads, conversations, and closures.
8. Collect client feedback to refine products and offerings.
9. Collaborate with the Founder & operations team to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.

Who’s a Good Fit:

1. Strong interest in sales, client relations, and business development.
2. Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
3. Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable with startup-style fast growth.
4. Organised, target-oriented, and eager to close deals.
5. Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) is a plus.
6. Ready to take ownership and grow with the company.

Performance Expectations:

1. This is a target-based internship.
2. Interns are expected to work toward a minimum monthly performance benchmark of 50–60 boxes (sample orders + paid orders combined).
3. Consistency in communication, outreach quality, and follow-up discipline is expected every day.

Stipend & Benefits:

1. Monthly Stipend: You will be eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000, payable only upon achievement of the minimum monthly performance criteria described in the “Performance Targets” section below.
2. Performance Incentive: In addition to the stipend, you may earn a monthly performance incentive of Rs. 5,000–Rs. 6,000, based on achievement of higher sales and conversion milestones beyond the minimum target.
3. All payments (stipend + incentives) will be subject to TDS and other statutory deductions, if applicable.

Performance Targets & Evaluation:

1. This is a target-based business development role. For Month 1, the minimum sales threshold for stipend eligibility is 35–40 boxes (sample + paid orders combined), along with consistent daily outreach and reporting as per company expectations.
2. From Month 2 onwards, the monthly benchmark is 50–60 boxes (sample + paid orders combined) plus consistent outreach and reporting.
3. If the minimum monthly threshold is not met, WildSattva reserves the right to reduce, defer, or withhold the stipend for that month and/or review continuation of the internship.
4. Incentives of Rs. 5,000–Rs. 6,000 per month will be payable for exceeding the benchmark, as per the incentive structure communicated separately.

Duration: 3 months
