About the Internship
We’re looking for a passionate Backend Development Intern who’s excited to build products that can scale, perform, and make a real difference—especially in the fintech space. You’ll work closely with our tech team and get hands-on experience with Django, APIs, data, and more.Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in writing scalable and clean code using Django REST Framework.
2. Support in building and testing APIs (REST/SOAP) for fintech applications.
3. Help debug and review code to ensure performance, responsiveness, and security.
4. Contribute to integrating and managing data storage systems.
5. Write basic algorithms to support personalization and recommendation logic.
6. Assist in creating scripts for background processes and logging activities.
7. Support development of data visualization APIs for internal analytics.
8. Collaborate with the DevOps team to understand optimization and scalability practices.
9. Participate in regular code reviews, learning sessions, and team standups.
You should apply if you:
1. Are curious to learn how real-world apps and platforms are built.
2. Have a foundational understanding of Python and Django (projects or coursework count!).
3. Love experimenting with code and want to work in a startup-like environment.
4. Have demonstrated leadership or ownership (college fest, hackathons, team leads, etc.).
5. Get excited by the idea of building products that impact lives—like WhatsApp, Google, or Dream11.
6. Believe in solving problems, not pointing fingers.
Bonus points for:
1. Familiarity with Git and version control.
2. Basic knowledge of APIs and JSON.
3. Enthusiasm for fintech or personal finance tools.
