About the Internship
As a backend developer intern (Node.js), you will work closely with our engineering team on real product features.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js with frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js.
2. Develop and document clean, modular, and maintainable backend code to support new features.
3. Design, query, and optimize databases (e.g., MongoDB and PostgreSQL), including schema design and performance tuning.
4. Integrate and manage third-party APIs and internal services within the backend architecture.
5. Write, execute, and improve basic unit and integration tests, and debug and resolve reported issues.
6. Participate in and contribute to code reviews, incorporating feedback to improve code quality.
7. Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile developers to define API contracts and resolve integration issues.
8. Maintain and update backend documentation covering endpoints, data models, and workflows.
