About the Internship
We’re looking for a research-driven intern to help discover and connect with emerging artists from across the world, regions, and communities whose creative work is often underrepresented. This role is ideal for someone passionate about art and culture, and the ability to research beyond surface-level sources.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities will include
A. Artist Research & Discovery:
1. Research and identify artists across the world (visual artists, illustrators, designers, etc).
2. Use diverse sources such as local publications, social platforms, artist collectives, exhibitions, and cultural archives.
3. Identify emerging and lesser-known artists.
B. Curation & Documentation:
1. Create clear research profiles for shortlisted artists, including background, region, medium, and links.
2. Contextualise their work to support informed curation decisions.
C. Outreach & Coordination:
1. Draft and send thoughtful outreach messages to artists via email or social platforms.
2. Track responses and maintain basic outreach records.
3. Support follow-ups and coordination as required.
