About the Internship
Selected intern’s day‑to‑day responsibilities include:1. Designing and building image understanding systems that extract style, material, and form features from product images and client-supplied visuals.
2. Developing recommendation models using collaborative filtering, content-based techniques, embeddings, and hybrid graph-based methods to personalize suggestions for designers.
3. Rapidly prototyping UI/UX experiments for interactive searches and visual design workflows, iterating with user feedback and telemetry.
4. Implementing end‑to‑end pipelines from data ingestion and annotation to model training, serving via APIs, and front‑end integration.
5. Exploring research directions inspired by recent innovations such as vision‑language models, transformer architectures, autoencoders, diffusion models, and multi‑modal embeddings to enhance functionality.
6. Documenting experiments and results meticulously, articulating trade‑offs and insights to the founders and engineering team.
