About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Shadowing lesson designers:
1. Observe and learn from experienced lesson designers within the team.
2. Assist in the development of art curriculum materials under the guidance of senior team members.
3. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for lesson plans and activities.
B. Supporting curriculum development:
1. Assist in researching educational resources, including art techniques, historical contexts, and contemporary trends.
2. Collaborate with the team to gather and organize visual references, instructional materials, and supplementary resources for curriculum development.
3. Provide input on the adaptation of curriculum materials to meet diverse learner needs and educational standards.
4. Support the team in transforming curriculum content into engaging, visually rich learning formats.
C. Administrative tasks:
1. Assist with administrative duties such as organizing files, managing documentation, and scheduling meetings.
2. Help maintain databases and spreadsheets related to curriculum development projects.
3. Support communication within the team and with external stakeholders through email correspondence and other channels.
D. Design and multimedia support:
1. Create and edit digital design assets, including worksheets, templates, posters, and presentation visuals.
2. Edit photos and videos for internal and external content.
3. Assist in designing layouts for curriculum documents using tools like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
4. Collaborate on design projects that require both creativity and adherence to brand/aesthetic guidelines.
