About the Internship
We are seeking enthusiastic and driven interns to join our team, focusing on both research and sales initiatives for our cutting-edge animal supplement. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal science, agriculture, and business development to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industry. Interns will contribute to understanding market needs, supporting sales efforts, and gathering valuable insights into product efficacy and customer satisfaction.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
I. Research & Market Analysis (Approximately 70%)
A. Market research:
1. Conducting in-depth research on current trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in the cattle health and nutrition market in India, with a focus on PAN India and international markets.
2. Identifying potential new markets, customer segments (e.g., dairy farmers, cattle breeders, feed mills), and distribution channels.
3. Analyzing competitor strategies, pricing, and marketing approaches.
B. Product insights & feedback:
1. Assisting in collecting and analyzing feedback from existing customers regarding product performance, benefits, and areas for improvement.
2. Compiling case studies and testimonials highlighting the positive impact of the product on cattle health and productivity.
3. Supporting the team in understanding the specific nutritional challenges faced by cattle farmers and how our product addresses them.
C. Scientific literature review:
1. Researching scientific literature and studies related to prebiotics, probiotics, enzymes, and other components relevant to cattle digestion and health.
2. Summarizing findings to support marketing claims and educate sales teams.
D. Data collection & reporting:
1. Assisting in developing surveys and questionnaires for farmers and industry professionals.
2. Organizing and analyzing data collected from research activities.
3. Presenting findings in clear and concise reports.
II. Sales & Business Development Support (Approximately 30%)
A. Lead generation:
1. Identifying and qualifying potential leads through various channels, including online research, AI tools, industry directories, and agricultural events/exhibitions.
2. Assisting in building and maintaining a database of prospective clients.
B. Sales collateral development:
1. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and refine sales presentations, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials for our company products.
2. Ensuring all materials are accurate, engaging, and highlight the key benefits and scientific backing of the product.
C. Customer outreach & support:
1. Assisting the sales team in communicating with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and potentially in-person visits (if applicable and safe).
2. Following up with leads and customers to nurture relationships and gather feedback.
D. Event participation:
1. Supporting the team in preparing for and potentially attending local agricultural fairs, farmer meetings, and industry trade shows to promote our product.
E. Sales reporting:
1. Helping track sales activities, leads, and customer interactions using CRM tools (if applicable).
2. Contributing to weekly/monthly sales performance reports.
