Steps to Apply for Admission to Chennai Institute of Technology

Admission will be on the basis of the qualifying exam and TNEA Counselling.

The Candidate seeking admission in this course should have Completed 10+2 Level of Examination from a recognized board of education with minimum score of 50% for General Category, 45% for Backward Category and 40% for Reserved Category in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics aggregate marks.

Admission Procedure for M.E

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to M. E. program must have passed B. E./B. Tech in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Engineering Diploma holders of minimum three-year duration with minimum 50% marks are eligible to seek admission to 2nd year of the B.E/B.Tech programs under the Lateral Entry scheme.
