The XAT 2026 application process has begun on 10th July, 2025 as per the official notification released by the authorities earlier. Students will be able to access the XAT applications form 2026 on the official website of the XAT (xatonline.in). The XAT is conducted every year to help MBA universities/colleges select the best candidate to offer management programs. The XAT 2026 is accepted by various reputed institutes such as XLRI, XIM Bhubaneswar, IMT Manesar, GIM Goa and many more. Candidates must go through the XAT 2026 brochure available on its official website before starting to fill out the application form.
As per the official notice, XAT 2026 will be conducted on January 4, 2026 in CBT (computer based test) mode. The XAT registration process will include multiple steps like online registration, uploading documents, fees payment, preference filling and more. Candidates must note that the authorities will accept applications for students meeting minimum XAT eligibility criteria and anyone who fails to do so, will not be allowed to participate in the examination. How to Register for XAT 2026?
- Visit and login to the official XAT website
- Click on the 'New Registration' link on the homepage and enter the required details
- A unique XAT ID and Registration link will then be shared to the candidate's registered email ID
- Click on the link to verify the registration
- Login using the credentials shared on the registered email ID
- Fill in the mandatory details like personal details, academic details, work experience details, XLRI program and Exam City Preference details
- Once done, the candidate needs to upload their documents - Photograph and Signature as per the specifications given
- The final step is to pay the XAT application fees. Once the fees are submitted, the application is considered complete.

- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet

XAT Registration 2026 | Special Offer for First Day Applicants
- Applicants who register on Day 1 (10 July) will have access to unique preparation opportunities.
- 200 randomly selected Day 1 applicants will be able to participate in interactive Q&A sessions with XLRI students and the XAT team during the last week of July and the first week of August.
- These interactive sessions will allow you to ask XAT toppers and the convenor any questions you may have about preparation, test strategies, admission queries, etc.
- 100 different Day 1 applicants will be invited to a private Telegram group, administered by XLRI students and the XAT team.
- This Telegram group will be administered for one hour during the second and fourth week of August for more focused, real-time interaction.
