NIIT University Fees for BTech CSE: Hostel Fees

NIIT University provides a hostel facility to its students with comfortable accommodations in a soothing and vibrant environment. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Rooms are fully furnished with single-bed accommodation and common toilet facilities for girls. On the other hand, single/double/triple rooms are available for boys with common toilet facilities. NIIT BTech CSE: Eligibility Criteria

NIIT University has set specific eligibility criteria for students who want to join their BTech Computer Science and Engineering program. Students must score at least 55% combined marks in both Class X and Class XII exams to qualify.

Class X students need English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science as their core subjects. They can choose any fifth subject they prefer. The requirements get more specific in Class XII. CSE candidates must study Physics, Mathematics, and English as their main subjects.

Students must also have valid scores from recognized entrance tests. The university accepts JEE Main, BITSAT, SAT, NEET, or any state engineering entrance exam scores. Students who haven't taken these tests need to appear for NIIT University's own aptitude test called NUAT.

The application needs a completed Admissions Application form submitted before the deadline. Students must attach all required documents and pay the application fee. The university will not accept incomplete applications.

NIIT BTech CSE: Admission Process

Admission for the BTech CSE course is already on at NIIT University. Admission into NIIT University is based on first-come, first-served basis.

All these students are required to appear for the NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT). The 50-minute online test is used to determine how well one knows Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Valid JEE scorers do not require appearing for NUAT. They are able to appear directly for a Personal Interaction with faculty members. In these sessions, the faculty advisors evaluate the candidate's problem-solving capabilities, creative thinking, academic aptitude, English language skills, subject interest, and personality.

NIIT BTech CSE: Substantial Merit Scholarships

The Special Scholarship (MS 1+ level) stands out by offering full tuition fee waiver. Students who score JEE percentiles of ≥97, BITSAT scores of 300+, or rank among their state board's top 10 are qualified for this scholarship.

These scholarships last through the BTech program. Students need to maintain a minimum AGPA or CGPA of 6.0 as per the university's Academic Policy. Students can upgrade their scholarship level if they score higher total marks in Class XII compared to Class X.

NIIT University's support goes beyond merit scholarships. Rajasthan residents get an annual fee waiver of INR25,000. SC/ST/OBC category students qualify for an INR 15,000 yearly waiver.
