The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship 2025 has been announced for the 2025 academic year. The 2024 scholarship was announced by the Mahindra Trust. Students with a Diploma can apply. The online application is now open for eligible students studying in India pursuing higher education.
The scholarships offered by the Mahindra All India Educational Trust, are made available to deserving candidates pursuing job-oriented Diploma courses, who have passed the Madhyamik (or equivalent) examination. The Mahindra Education Trust, a registered charitable trust, is offering the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship 2025 to students who have passed the SSC/HSC or different examination in Class X/XII.
About the Scholarship
- Eligibility: open to students that have completed SSC or HSC (Class 10 or 12) and have been accepted into their first year of a diploma course in a government recognized polytechnic institute.
- Purpose of the Scholarship: to provide financial assistance and have a better goal of increasing the level of skilled/ workforce based diploma education among youth from urban and rural populations.
- Scholarship Amount: If chosen, the student will receive ₹10,000 per year for no more than 3 years.
- Student Intake: Each year, 550 students are selected from around India.
- Impact: More than 12,390 students from around India have received this scholarship, along with more education and career possibilities from when the scholarship began.
Purpose of the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship
The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship is a scholarship that aims to benefit students of backgrounds that are economically weaker in order to continue their studies through job-oriented diploma courses. This scholarship will financially help students who have passed Class 10 (Madhyamik) examination or equivalent and wish to join technical diploma programmes at the approved government polytechnic institutes in India.
For each annual basis 550 best students will be supported with ₹10,000 for three years of academic sessions. The purpose of the scholarship is to create financial easiness in families and provide opportunities to students for acquiring practical, skills-based and career-oriented knowledge.
The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship is playing an important role in improving educational accessibility and levelling the playing field for urban and rural students while allowing young people - albeit in a small way - to develop a pathway to sustainable work, financial independence and viable opportunities.

Eligibility criteria
Indian Citizenship:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Scholarships are only available to citizens of India from all states and union territories.
Academic Qualification:
- Applicants must have passed an SSC (Class 10) or HSC (Class 12) board examination or an equivalent recognized examination.
- Teenage applicants must achieve a minimum of 60% marks to be eligible.
Course Admission:
- Applicants must be enrolled or have been offered a place in the first year of a diploma course in a designated government or government-aided polytechnic institute in India, wherein the diploma course is job-oriented and technical.
Family Income:
- The applicant's family must be low-income so that the scholarship will reach people truly in need of funding. Documentation is unlikely to be required but will be asked for during the application process.

2.Class 10 Mark Sheet
- Compulsory for all applicants
- Must display final grades and have the appropriate attestation
3.Class 12 Mark Sheet (only if applicable)
- Only applicable to applicants who have completed their Class 12 (before commencing their diploma course)
4.Proof of admission
- Official admission letter or confirmation slip from a recognized polytechnic institute
5.Reference Letter/Testimonial
- From one referee (A teacher or an employer)
- Must refer to the applicant's character, intellectual qualities and work-related qualities.
6.Personal Statement (Essay)
- Brief write-up about:
- Your general aptitudes and interests
- Your career path or vocation that you want to pursue
- Your goals, objectives and aspirations in life.
7.Date of Birth Certificate
- Birth certificate or school certificate that shows the date of birth
8.Family Income Certificate
- Certificate issued by competent government authority
- Or any valid proof of family income
9.Bank details documentation
- Copy of the first page of your bank passbook or a canceled check
- Ensure that the account is in the applicants' name.
10.Aadhar card copy
