The Mittal School of Business at Lovely Professional University (LPU) has announced record MBA placements for the Class of 2025. Manik Salaria, a student, was able to secure the highest package, worth ₹49.46 lakh, at a prominent multinational corporation.
The university achieved a 29% increase in total offers, rising from 873 in 2024 to 1,129 placements in 2025. The top 10% of the batch received an average package of ₹12 lakh.
The placement drive involved more than 250 recruiters from both domestic and foreign countries. Major companies included Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Federal Bank, Nestlé, Asian Paints, Flipkart, Broadridge Financial Services, HighRadius, Blinkit, Trident Group, Aditya Birla, TCS, Wipro Consumer, Berger Paints, and ServiceNow. Students were assigned to positions in digital marketing, account management, category leadership, financial advising, business analysis, and client relationship management.
Entrepreneurship at LPU
Around 15% of students chose entrepreneurship instead of placements. Their startups raised over ₹2 crore in funding before graduation. Investors included Indian Angel Network, Marwari Catalyst, and Venture Boult. Notable student ventures were:

- CHICKELZ – an innovative food product brand
- Cafe 18 O’5 – a hospitality startup showing strong growth
