Mathematics: 25 questions X 4 marks = 100 marks

JEE Main B.Planning Exam Pattern 2023 : Total Number of Questions

JEE Main Paper-2B will include 90 questions in total. The NTA conducts the exam for admission to B.Plan programmes. Check out the table below for further information about total questions in JEE Mains Paper-2B (B.Plan):

Changes Introduced in JEE Main B.Planning Exam Pattern

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) method will be used for the JEE Main B.Planning paper. The paper will be divided into three sections i.e; mathematics, aptitude and planning based questions.

For Mathematics, there will be no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

With the inclusion of 5 extra Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions in the Mathematics section, the total number of questions in B.Planning will be 105.

The exam duration will be 3.5 hours.

The maximum marks will be 400.

JEE Main B.Planning Syllabus 2023

JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern adjustments were made in response to the MHRD's statement that the CBSE class XI and XII syllabus will be reduced by 30%. However, no revisions to the JEE Main Syllabus have been notified as of yet.
