Phase 1 of the IIT Guwahati Placements for the academic year 2023-24 has been completed. On day one of the IIT Guwahati placement drive, a total of 164 job offers were received from 59 different companies. The companies recruited registered candidates in the Core, Software, and Business Analyst sectors.
According to reports, IIT Guwahati has signed up 1491 candidates for campus recruitment. Of these, 712 have already received offers from over 250 companies. IIT Guwahati received the Highest International Package of Rs. 2.05 Crore Per Annum whereas the Highest Domestic Package stood at Rs. 1.20 Crore Per Annum.
According to the IIT Guwahati social media post, 38 % of the students were placed in the Core sector. In comparison, 36 % were placed in the Software Development and Product Industry. 26 % of recruited candidates were offered Finance and Analyst job roles.
