About IIT Kanpur Ranking
IIT Kanpur (IITK) is one of the most sought-after universities in India. It is one of the esteemed IITs, along with IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Bombay. The first IIT generation to be founded in India was IIT Kanpur. According to the QS World University Rankings 2024, IIT Kanpur is ranked 278th. In the Engineering category, the institute was ranked #4 in India by NIRF for the year 2023. It has continuously ranked in the top 5 according to NIRF. NIRF 2023 has also ranked IIT Kanpur in the management category, placing it at 23rd position. Outlook ICARE and India Today have ranked IIT Kanpur as one of the top universities in the country, placing it at #4 and #6, respectively.
