Although the 2022-24 batch did see a great deal of growth in other areas, for example, the Highest package offered of Rs. 72 LPA was significantly higher than the 32.4 LPA offered in 2023.
In the placement cycle for the 2022-24 cohort, 48 recruiters were involved, including 11 new companies, and offered numerous opportunities in various segments like BFSI, Consulting, IT & E-Commerce, FMCG/FMCD, Pharma, and Conglomerates. The top 25% of the batch earned an Average Salary of Rs. 38.29 LPA, and the Median Salary increased to Rs. 29.31 LPA.
The IIT Bombay Average Package for MBA in 2023 increased by 11%, while the 2022-24 batch did fairly well compared to the rest of the candidates despite the average being slightly lower.

With a 100% placement rate, the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) at IIT Bombay effectively finishes the final placement procedure for its MBA cohort of 2022–2024.
