IPU Counselling 2024 Overview
IPU CET expanded as the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is conducted by IPU. IPU CET Common Registration for GGSIPU admission 2024 has been closed. The university will conduct the common entrance test for various courses from 27 April - 14 May 2024. The IPU Counselling process will be held between 14 June-31 July 2024 (tentative). The entrance exam is conducted for entry into the B.Tech program through lateral entry for diploma holders, BSc graduates, and BTech (Bio-Technology).
For IPU admissions 2024, candidates have to score qualifying marks in IPU CET. The IPU CET online counselling registrations will tentatively begin from June 4, 2024 to June 7, 2024.
To participate in GGSIPU counselling, candidates have to pay a counselling participation and registration fee, i.e., Rs 1000. Result updates for IPU counselling rounds will be posted on the official website. Seat allotments during the counselling sessions are based on entrance test scores in IPU CET.

IPU CET Counselling 2024: Eligibility
To sit for the IPU CET counselling 2024, candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in the IPU common entrance test. Once qualified, the candidates will be eligible for online and offline IPU counselling to various courses.
IPU CET Counselling 2024: Application Process
The IPU CET 2024 counselling process is conducted online, allowing candidates from across the country to participate. It involves several steps such as fee payment, registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification. Here's a detailed breakdown:
1. IPU Counselling Fee Payment:
Eligible candidates need to log in using their application number and date of birth. They'll find a link to pay the counselling fee and can choose between online and offline payment methods.
- For online payments, options include a Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
- For offline payments, candidates need to print the challan and deposit the fee at the nearest bank branch.
2. IPU Counselling Registration:
Once the fee payment is done, candidates can proceed with the registration process. During registration, they'll need to provide their IPU CET/JEE Main 2024 roll number, name, date of birth, and result status. They'll also need to enter personal, academic, and contact details. Successful registration will provide candidates with an IPU CET login ID and password.
Please Note: IPU Registration Last Date was 15 April 2024.
3. IPU Counselling Choice Filling:
Candidates need to fill in their preferred courses and institutions after completing registration. It's advisable to fill in as many preferences as possible to enhance the chances of securing a desired seat. Seat allotment results will be announced after the completion of this step.
IPU CET Counselling 2024: Document Verification
