GATE Cutoff for IIT Delhi 2025: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi provides admission to the M.Tech program on the basis of the GATE Score. IIT Delhi GATE Cut Off 2025 is the minimum score required to be obtained by the candidate to apply for admission to the M.Tech program at the institute.

Candidates applying for M. Tech seats in IIT Delhi in various specializations should keep in mind that they possess a valid GATE Score in the concerned branch.

The seats are assigned on the basis of GATE Marks in all the branches by COAP Counselling. In this article, we are going to talk about the IIT Delhi GATE Cut Off 2025 to inform students about the minimum score needed to take admission in their preferred discipline.

GATE 2025 Cutoff Overview

IIT Roorkee has declared the GATE 2025 Result on the 19th of March on its official website - goaps.iitr.ac.in. The candidates who appeared for the GATE exam 2025 scheduled on February 1, 2, 15 & 16 can check results by logging into their official website account.

They need to enter their enrollment ID and password to see the result. The conducting authority of the exam has also released the GATE 2025 toppers list and the GATE final answer key along with the GATE 2025 result.

GATE 2025 scorecard has also been published by IIT Roorkee on 28th March which can be downloaded from the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Students can download the score card free of cost from 28th March 2025 to 31st March 2025.

Difference Between GATE Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff

GATE qualifying cut-off refers to the lowest marks that need to be scored in order to become eligible to appear for the GATE exam, while admission cut-off refers to the lowest mark that must be obtained to become eligible for admission at a specific institute (like IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc.) for M.Tech, MSc, or PhD programs.

IIT Delhi M.Tech Admission Criteria Through GATE

The IIT Delhi MTech program is divided into four semesters. The course is available under various specialisations. IIT Delhi MTech admission can be done on the basis of the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Shortlisted applicants on the basis of exam scores are required to undergo COAP counselling for ultimate seat allocation in IIT.

MTech course admissions begin at IITs with the process of GATE registration. The application form is usually released in August, according to the trend of previous years.

IIT Delhi admission to the MTech program is done on the basis of GATE scores. On the other hand, BTech graduates from IITs having an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10 are exempted from GATE and can get direct admissions. All the shortlisted students go through COAP Counselling upon which seats are allotted according to seat availability.

IIT Delhi also has an MTech course in part-time and sponsored full-time modes. The students who are interested in applying for admission in any of these two modes need to sit for a written test, followed by a PI round, both held by the institute.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Candidate must possess a BE/BTech/MSc or equivalent degree from a recognised institute with minimum 60% aggregate or 6.00 CGPA out of 10
OR AMIE/ Graduate IETE degree holder from a recognised institute.

The place where i start to see dreem and getting strength to fulfill them

Placement: Thay provid every single chance but our department deal mainly in research

Infrastructure: Pool, Gym, Laboratories

Faculty: There are many because all welcome to all student as well as every question which motivate me to explor my self

Admission: State / National Entrance Exams, Group Discussion / Personal Interview

Club: Each club/socity due to Hard Work

Mess: Not that much

IIT delhi is very big campus its campus has more space in compare in towns. It gives very good place. Its education standard are very good.

Placement: 5 lakh - 15 lakh ( I got placement in TATA Moters)

Faculty: Manish Pandey sir has perfect teacher for any student but student has also give best with teacher

Admission: Based on School / 12th Class Result

IN MY OWN WORDS BY HEART I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THIS COLLEGE IS AWESOME THAN ALL OTHER COLLEGE. THE EVENTS. THE CULTURAL FESTS, THE FOOD PROVIDED BY THE MESS,THE INFRASTRUCTURE ,AND THE FACULTIES ALL ARE VERY GOOD AND AWESOME.

Placement: ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE SEND TO ISRAEL BY IITD . AND WE GOT 8000 RUPEES PER MONTH WE ALL WAS VERY HAPPY THAT IT WAS OUR FIRST SELF EARNED MONEY.OUR SENIORS ARE ALSO OUR GOOD FRIENDS THERE.WE ALL EXPERIENCED GREAT TIME THERE.

The infra is best, the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with high speed. The library is quite good and has a lot of books it is also open for 24 hours.There are all the necessary sports facilities with all the necessary equipment as well.

Placement: We have awesome placements where the packages that vary from Rs. 15 LPA to Rs. 1.5 CR PA. One of the top college for placements, it also has startup incubator which allows people to start thier work

Faculty: The professors and the faculty are all highly knowledgeable, they are highly qualified in their respective field. Mr Kurur sir is the best professor of IIT Delhi.
