The GATE 2026 registration has been postponed by the authorities and now students will be able to fill out the application form from August 28, 2025. Earlier, the GATE application form 2026 was supposed to be released on 25th August. Students can visit the official website of the GATE 2026 (gate2026.iitg.ac.in/) to register for the examination.
The GATE registration process will comprise steps like self registration, filling out application form, uploading documents, meeting eligibility criteria and more. Students are advised to keep all the required documents for GATE registration handy before starting to fill out the application form. GATE 2026 Registration Process
Students can check out the following to learn how to register for the GATE 2026.
- Students must first visit the official GATE website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in
- Students can then select the GATE registration link. They will be required to provide personal details such as their email address or phone number.
- Upon doing so, students will receive their login credentials for the GATE examination.
- Students can then complete the registration process for the GATE exam by filling in the application form. Students must fill-in their academic and personal details with accurate and updated information.
- Students will then be required to upload the required documents.
- To complete the registration process, students must pay the GATE registration fees. Not doing so will not allow students to complete the application process for the GATE 2026 exam.
- Before submitting the application form, students must double-check to ensure all details are correct and accurate.
