The GATE 2026 examination is set to take place in February 2026. The examination offers significant scope to engineering students with plenty of papers to choose from. The GATE exam also consists of several non-engineering branches that students who do not hail from engineering branches can choose from. Can Non-Engineering Students Give GATE?

Yes, non-engineering students can certainly attempt to take the GATE 2026 examination next year. There are several branches that GATE offers for students to pursue which are not related to the field of engineering. These GATE branches offered are more related to fields of architecture, business, economics, statistics and social sciences.
