What is Bihar JEEViKA?
Bihar JEEViKA, also known as the State Rural Livelihoods Mission, is run by the Government of Bihar through the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS). It started around 2007 with backing from the World Bank as a main effort to reduce poverty. It helps rural women by using Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Village Organizations, and Cluster Level Federations throughout the state.
