AP TET is a state-level screening examination administered by the Andhra Pradesh Education Department to evaluate the candidacy of aspirants wishing to teach in government schools of Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) is organized by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh to validate candidates' eligibility to become teachers in primary (Classes I-V) and upper primary (Classes VI-VIII) schools. AP TET 2025 Exam Pattern

The examination is done offline in two papers , Paper 1 (for primary teachers) and Paper 2 (for upper primary). Paper 1 consists of five sections, and Paper 2 consists of four. Both papers have objective-type questions and are held for 2 hours 30 minutes. The APTET Paper 2 (Part B) is intended for Class 6 to 8 teachers of regular schools. Following is the exam pattern of APTET Paper 2 for the year 2025, i.e., for Part A.

AP TET Syllabus 2025 for Paper 1 (Classes I to V)

The AP TET syllabus for Paper 1 includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies topics. The syllabus of AP TET Paper 1 is nearly the same as Part A and Part B. But the minor variation is only in the Child Development and Pedagogy Syllabus for Part A and Part B.
