BITSAT 2025 Counselling Process Explained
Provided below is a simple step-by-step overview of the BITSAT 2025 counselling process. The counselling process helps get students into the colleges that participate in the BITSAT 2025 examination. Following these steps will help students know what to expect from the BITSAT counselling process.
The steps are as follows:
- Registration: Students will be required to register for the BITSAT counselling process through the official BITSAT website. Students must ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria before registering for the counselling process.
- Counselling Form: After the completion of the registration process, students must fill-in the required details in the BITSAT counselling form. This form requires students to put in accurate and up-to-date information that matches with a student’s submitted documents. No corrections will be made after the form has been filled.
- Payment of Counselling Fees: Students who register for the BITSAT 2025 counselling process must pay the counselling fees. The counselling fees for BITSAT 2025 is INR 1000 for general category students. The payment has to be made in the online mode through UPI or online banking.
- Choice-Filling: It is very important for students to research on which BITS campuses they wish to gain admission to. According to that, students can make a choice for which BITS campus and course they want to get into. Students will be required to add their choices in order of their preferences. The order of preferences is taken into serious consideration during the BITS seat allotment process.
- Seat Allotment: It is during the seat allotment process where students get admission to the colleges that they opted for. There are several rounds of seat allotment. If a student is not happy with their allotted seat or not allotted one altogether, they can participate in further rounds of seat allotment.
- Seat Acceptance: If a student is happy with their allotted seat, they can choose to confirm their seat. They will be required to physically report to their allotted BITS campus.
