1. Dr. Vikas Amte

Dr. Vikas Amte is a renowned social worker and the son of social activist Baba Amte. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University in 1984. He is the founder and managing trustee of the Maharogi Sewa Samiti, which runs the Anandwan, a community rehabilitation center for leprosy patients. Dr. Amte has been honored with several awards for his contribution to social work, including the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan.

2. Dr. Rajan Welukar

Dr. Rajan Welukar is an educationist and the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai. He completed his PhD in Chemistry from the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University in 1990. He has also served as the Vice-Chancellor of the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University and the Director of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Dr. Welukar has been honored with the Maharashtra Bhushan Award for his contribution to education.

3. Dr. Rajendra Shende

Dr. Rajendra Shende is an environmentalist and the Chairman of the TERRE Policy Centre. He completed his PhD in Civil Engineering from the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University in 1985. He has worked with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for over two decades and has been awarded the Global 500 Roll of Honour by the UNEP. Dr. Shende has also been honored with the Padma Shri for his contribution to environmental protection.

4. Nagraj Manjule

Nagraj Manjule is a filmmaker and screenwriter known for his critically acclaimed Marathi films, including Fandry and Sairat. He completed his Master of Arts degree in Marathi literature from the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University. He has won several awards for his work, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi for Fandry and the Grand Jury Prize at the Mumbai Film Festival for Sairat.

5. Dr. Avinash Bhondwe

Dr. Avinash Bhondwe is a renowned orthopedic surgeon and the President of the Maharashtra Medical Council. He completed his MBBS degree from the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule University in 1992. He has been honored with several awards for his contribution to medicine, including the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Award and the Dr. M. N. Dorairajan Gold Medal.
