The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to announce the results for the second round of PGCET seat allotment today, **October 23**. Students who took part in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) counselling can check if they have received a seat in a college after **6 PM**.

The results will be available on the official KEA website: **cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2025**. This round of counselling helps students get admission into master's courses like MBA (Master of Business Administration), MCA (Master of Computer Applications), MTech (Master of Technology), and MArch (Master of Architecture) for the PGCET 2025 academic year.

Key Dates to Remember

After the results are out, students must complete the next steps quickly to secure their admission. Here are the important dates:

EventDate
PGCET Round 2 Seat Allotment Results October 23 (after 6 PM)
Period for Paying Admission Fee October 25 to October 29
Last Date to Report to Allotted College October 30

How to Check Your PGCET Round 2 Results

Checking your seat allotment status is a simple process. Follow these steps:

  • Go to the official KEA website: **cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2025**.
  • On the homepage, look for the link that says "PGCET Round 2 Seat Allotment Results" or similar.
  • Click on this link.
  • You will be asked to enter your login details, such as your application number and password.
  • After entering your details, your seat allotment status will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the college and course you have been allotted.
  • It is a good idea to download and print a copy of your allotment letter for your records.

What Happens After Checking Results?

If you have been given a seat in this second round of PGCET counselling, there are two main steps you need to take:

  • Pay the Admission Fee

Candidates must pay the required admission fee online to confirm their acceptance of the seat. The payment window is from **October 25 to October 29**. Make sure to complete this step within these dates to avoid losing your seat.

  • Report to Your Allotted College

After paying the fee, you must physically go to the college that has given you a seat. You need to carry all the necessary documents for verification. The last date to report to your allotted college is **October 30**. Make sure all your documents are ready and you report on time.

Cut-Off List Also to be Released

The KEA will also publish the PGCET Round 2 cut-off list today. This list shows the minimum marks or ranks that were needed to get admission into various MBA, MCA, MTech, and MArch courses in different colleges during this second round. Students can check this list to understand the admission trends and requirements.

Possibility of a Final Counselling Round

The KEA usually conducts two main rounds of counselling for PGCET admissions. However, if some seats remain empty even after this second round, the authority might decide to hold a third, or 'final', counselling round. This is done to fill up as many vacant seats as possible.

If a final round is conducted, students who have already received and confirmed a seat in either the first or second round will not be allowed to participate in it. For those eligible, a new chance to choose colleges and courses will be opened for this final round.

Students should keep checking the official KEA website for any further updates regarding PGCET 2025 counselling or additional rounds.
