About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Develop and maintain backend or system-level applications using C++ (C++23) and related frameworks/libraries.
2. Collaborate with the development team to design high-performance, memory-efficient, and scalable software solutions.
3. Write clean, modular, and well-documented C++ code following industry standards (RAII, OOP, STL, etc.).
4. Assist in debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance-critical modules.
5. Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for C++ development, including exception safety and thread safety.
6. Work on data structures, algorithms, and multithreading to improve system performance.
7. Integrate network protocols (TCP/UDP), sockets, and REST/gRPC APIs for backend communication.
8. Contribute to building automation and CI/CD pipelines using tools like CMake, Conan, or vcpkg.
9. Collaborate with other teams for cross-platform compatibility (Windows/Linux) and hardware/software integration.
10. Stay updated on modern C++ standards, compiler optimizations, and emerging libraries to continuously improve code quality and performance.
