About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:Kindly note this is a full-time internship. Language: English and Malayalam.
1. Managing policy and legislative research & analysis, data analysis, advocacy, coalition work, and effective communications
2. Handling leads issue areas as assigned, by conducting policy analysis, strategy development, executing, and catalyzing of stakeholder partners
3. Conducting research and assisting in the preparation of policy proposals, messaging, and advocacy strategies
4. Providing team with timely research, analysis, written materials and briefings on relevant issues
5. Prepare policy drafts, briefs, research summaries and presentations.
6. Making social media posts to initiate certain policy measures.
7. Developing strategies to get the government to respond to the needs of citizens.
8. Drafting petitions.
9. Drafting letters to elected representatives to take action on social issues.
