About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Build and maintain REST APIs in Node.js/Express for Autosys Smart-Home features.
2. Design MongoDB/Firebase schemas, write queries, and optimize reads/writes.
3. Implement background workers/cron jobs (queues, Redis) for device events and analytics.
4. Write clean, modular JS/TS with unit tests (Jest) and meaningful commit messages.
5. Integrate third-party services (OAuth, Firebase Auth, payment/mail, webhooks).
6. Collaborate with front-end (React/Flutter) to define contracts and review API responses.
7. Create internal tools/dashboards for monitoring devices, users, and scenes.
8. Instrument logs/metrics, trace bugs, and ship fixes via Git + CI/CD (pm2/Docker).
9. Document endpoints, env vars, and set-up steps for other developers.
10. Participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and demo days; proactively propose improvements.
